Sunil Harkar
Founder and Managing Director, Auxilink Projects and Machinery Pvt. Ltd.
Sunil started the plastics side of the business in 2003 and has spent his working life around injection moulding machines, presses and the plants that run them. Auxilink today works across industrial project execution, plastics machinery and machine data.
In his words
Most industrial work in India is still sold on rate. I have never seen a project go wrong because the rate was slightly high. I have seen a great many go wrong because nobody agreed what was in scope, or because the survey was skipped, or because the plan assumed a crane that was not free that day.
What we try to sell is the planning. The execution follows from it.

Where the business is going
Auxilink's direction is toward higher engineering content and less pure manpower. That means a stronger machinery business, a dedicated capability in machine retrofit and monitoring, and project work chosen selectively rather than taken on volume.
