Industrial fabrication and structural works

Most fabrication disputes are not about welding. They are about weight, because the drawing said one thing and the take-off said another.

Fabrication is quoted from a take-off, not from an impression. Section sizes, lengths and plate thicknesses are computed from the drawing and reconciled against any bill of material supplied with the enquiry. Where the two disagree, we say so at quotation stage rather than raising it as a claim after fabrication has started.

Work is carried out in our own fabrication shops, which keeps quality checks and rework inside our control rather than at a third party. Fit-up, welding, surface preparation and painting or powder coating are done before dispatch, so what arrives at the plant is ready to erect.

Site erection is planned like any other machine job: access, lifting, working at height clearance, and a fixed completion. Structural work inside an operating plant is usually the part that has to fit around production, and that is a sequencing question, not a fabrication question.

What we fix before mobilising

MaterialSection and plate specification confirmed in writing before cutting starts.
FinishSurface preparation and paint or powder coat specification agreed at quotation, not at dispatch.
